• Monday Week 2: Reminder to parents that Monday 19th January is a Monday Week 2 and therefore school will finish at 2.15pm whilst our staff undertake training and development. School buses will depart at 2.25pm.

• Attendance: Reporting a student absence – please call the attendance line (and leave a voicemail) or use the MyEd app to send a text message. Please report students absent daily before 8.30am.

Medical appointments - With the updated guidance around ‘lates’ and ‘late arrivals’ after the registers closes, we would like to offer some advice around appointments during the school day.
- Where possible please schedule appointments outside of school hours,
- If arranging a morning appointment, it is suggested that your child attends school to gain their registration mark at 8.40am (and then signs out straight after this),
- If arranging an afternoon appointment, it is suggested that your child signs out after 12.45pm so they have gained their afternoon registration mark.

• Year 10 A-Side Parents’ Evening: Thursday 22nd January is A-side’s Video Parents’ Evening. If you have not yet made appointments there are some available. Please contact Mrs Maudsley if you need assistance. B-side is the following week on Thursday 29th January.

• Homework Club: Please be aware that Homework Club will be closed on Tuesday 10th February, Wednesday 11th February and Thursday 12th February due to the PPE exams. It will reopen as usual after the half term break.

- Year 11 Netball Fixture (for GCSE assessment) at Cardinal Newman High School. Return to CHS approx. 5.30pm

Wednesday 21st January
- Year 8&9 Girls Cheshire Cup Football at Wade Deacon High School. Kick-off at 3.00pm, returning to school at approximately 5.00pm
- GCSE PE trampolining practice session, 3.15-4.15pm.
- Year 7, 8 & 9 Football Club, 3G footwear required. 3.15-4.15pm

Thursday 22nd January
- Year 11 GCSE PE practical assessment day. Periods 1-5 inclusive. Class teachers will provide full details.
- GCSE PE revision, C109, 3.15-4.15pm.
