• Attendance: Reporting a student absence – please call the attendance line (and leave a voicemail) or use the MyEd app to send a text message. Please report students absent daily before 8.30am.

- Lates - Registers must close no longer than 30 minutes after opening. If a student is absent for registration but arrives later in the session after the register has closed, the attendance register must be amended to record them as absent using code U or another absence code that is more appropriate. Please note CHS AM registers open at 8.40am and close at 9am.

• Year 11: All Year 11 parents have been sent an important email about how students can be making the most of the final 9 weeks of GCSE revision time. Please click here to see the letter and materials in this email.

• Year 11 Revision: This is running again after school this week. Please refer to the After-School Revision Timetable on the Year 11 Notices Page to see what session is on after school each evening. Please speak to your child and ensure that they are attending the relevant sessions for the subjects that they’ve chosen to take at GCSE. Thank you in advance for your support in ensuring that students are attending these sessions with the GCSEs fast approaching.

• Year 9 Video Parents’ Evenings: A-side is Thursday 19th March; B-side is Thursday 26th March. If you have not yet booked appointments, there are still some available. The invite letters were emailed out on 9th February. If you need any assistance, please contact Mrs Maudsley.

• Year 9 Immunisations: Tetanus/Diptheria/Polio & Meningitis due to be administered at school on Thursday 5th March only to students whose parents have consented online. The online consent form was emailed out to parents, on behalf of the Immunisation Team, on 27th January 2026. Any queries regarding this can be discussed with the Immunisation Team on 03333583397. The closing date for the online consent will be two days prior to 5th March. The school will not be able to take verbal consent.

• Music Tuition Summer Term: A letter regarding music tuition for the summer term is due to be sent out this week for those who wish to continue with their lessons. Payment to be made via ParentPay.
